Course Objective

This course is designed to give existing Sybiz Vision users a detailed overview of some day-to-day features of Sybiz Vision. Introduction to a number of features that will extend the application of Sybiz Vision in the workplace which in the end enable greater understanding of the capabilities offered in the product.

Course Requirements

Attendees must be computer literate and have knowledge on Microsoft Windows and also have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and must have worked on Sybiz Vision or attended the Sybiz Vision level 1 course

Course Overview

Processing Period: flexibility in processing in Sybiz Vision and understanding the difference between prior and future period;

• Period Rollover: to go through monthly rollover procedure and what affect on the accounts
• End of Year Procedures: overview on essential steps prior to performing end of year process
• GST & BAS: understanding the difference between financial and GST/Tax periods and looking at how Sybiz Vision determines how to treat each transaction and identifying some of the issues that can complicate the BAS process
• Integration with Microsoft Office: exporting to Microsoft Excel, mail merge with Microsoft Word
• Database Housekeeping: backup, data compression, and understand the reindexing & recalculating utilities and when they become necessary
• Forms Editor and Report Writer: discover the scope of these two products and how to create value added information
• Power Functions: setting up Electronic payment, periodic billing
